Facts about the genus Dipus, the northern three-toed jerboa
The basic plot is that, shortly after dipus is born, his parents (his father is a king) learn from an oracle that he will kill his father and sleep with his mother.
The relationship between Salingotus, Cardiocranius, and paradipus is not clear from the consensus tree, because these three taxa occupy different positions in the three most parsimonious trees generated. (Full text)
